Rain Dukedom

The Rain Dukedom ( レイン・公国 , Rein Kōkoku ) is widely known as being a mysterious and isolated country situated in the far north-east.

According to legend the Rain Principality originally encompassed half the world, with the Royal family having completely destroyed three countries in one night. In reality, they are a poor but carefree country whose motto is "peace." ( 安らぎ )

Though it was originally an independent monarchy, it became an autonomous state when the Sun King conquered the world. However, this right of self-governance came with an ultimatum - the marriage of one of the four Princesses to the Sun King.

In the past there was a general drought throughout the world, as rain summoners the country was in the position to gain much power. However; under the then monarch Sovereign Tohara, the borders were closed and the royal family's power was safe guarded.

Royal family[]

The Royal family posses Rain Summoning powers although in reality they are more broadly weather magic. Abilities demonstrated include rain summoning, wind manipulation, fog manipulation, and cloud scattering.

It has been alluded they are capable of creating natural disasters with Nike almost causing a hurricane in volume 10. Taboo spells include lightning, thunder and storm manipulation.

When members of the royal family commit crimes , they are imprisoned in the Black Lotus tower which seals their powers.
