Mira Lemercier ( ミラ・ルメルシエ ) is the first princess of the Rain Dukedom as well as Nike's eldest sister.
Appearance[]
Mira has long copper hair that hangs past her waist and green eyes. She greatly resembles her mother Iraha and her youngest sister Nike.
History[]
Mira is the first of Duchess Iraha and Duke Teteru's four daughters. She was born with the family's rain controlling abilities and, according to Kara, specializes in rain-summoning.
When a special dispensation arrives from the Sun King, granting the Rain Dukedom autonomy in exchange for the hand of one of the princesses, Mira participates in the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors that her sisters use to decide who will be the bride. When Nike turns out to be the 'winner', she and Nia cheerfully intimidate Nike by telling her terrible rumors about the Sun King: in the manga, they tell her that he is a lecherous, cruel old man, while in the anime they claim he is a monster with horns, body hair and terrible breath.
When Nike and Livius visit the Rain Dukedom later, she and Nia are charmed by Livius's cuteness. Without letting him get a word in, the two eldest sisters drag him off to be dressed and posed, leaving him with pictures of the event.
When Kara is left in charge of the feast to welcome the Sun King, Mira is slated to sing .
When the plot to separate Nike and Livius commences, Mira expresses dislike, saying that it feels wrong to turn on him like that after greeting him as a friend. While Nia insists on appeasing her, Mira insists that it feels wrong, though she makes no move to stop the plot.
After Nike and Livius defeat the plot, it is Mira who offers apologies, first in the name of the Dukedom and then in her own name. She says she felt terrible, not from fear of punishment but for betraying her little sister and her beloved like that. She is also the first to offer to receive any punishment as atonement, though Nia quickly joins her.
